remote nature reserve, howling monkeys nearby, clean and comfortable rooms
Showers need temperature control improvement, signage visibility at night could be enhanced!!! Navigating in the dark without clear markers made finding the place unnecessarily challenging!!!

The charming owner used Google Translate to communicate with us and the breakfast was fantastic, accompanied by strong coffee. The serene setting by the river added to the delightful experience.

The economically priced room was well-maintained and comfortable for our stay.
The hostess's unfriendliness was disappointing, especially regarding our breakfast choice.

Here's my take on it

The clean room and delicious breakfast made by the owner are definite highlights. A perfect stop for those seeking nature's embrace!

peaceful jungle retreat with minor hiccups
The lodge sits in a beautifully serene setting with lush greenery, perfect for observing diverse bird species. The small river nearby offers a lovely swimming spot that's just a short walk away. Lucia, the host, is genuinely kind, providing breakfast even when I hadn't booked it. Furthermore, the river views from the property enhance the tranquil atmosphere during the stay.
Though the location was peaceful, I experienced occasional noise from nearby farms that disrupted the serenity.

Couples seeking solitude will appreciate it
The stay was just amazing, like having the whole forest to ourselves! The host was super friendly, you could tell she loved her place and the breakfast she made was great, fresh and fulfilling.
Sure, it wasn't cheap, but you know what, the experience made up for it.

A Jungle Retreat with Incredible Hospitality
Our stay at this hidden gem was unforgettable. The economy quadruple room provided plenty of space, and the air conditioning made it comfortable despite the jungle heat. The amazing host made us feel at home and prepared delicious meals. We loved waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys and enjoying nature right outside our door. However, more signage to find the place would definitely help first-time visitors.

We had a lovely overnight stay where we enjoyed the spacious rooms with superb air conditioning and made use of the well-equipped kitchen for a tasty dinner. The garden area was perfect for relaxing, and we loved the soothing sound of the river nearby. Just a heads up, it was a bit tricky finding the place at night, so maybe arrive earlier if you can! 😊
